On the 25th of each month during the 2023-2024 school year, we will be taking a look at some of the 'Xceptional things Xavier alumni are doing in the world as well as take a moment to reflect on the past 25 years of Xavier High School.
It's hard to believe that Xavier High School is turning 25 years old! We invite you to join us throughout the 2023-2024 school year as we celebrate 25 years of 'Xcellence and look forward as the Saints march on in to the next 25 years. With Xavier's 25th anniversary, the Xavier Foundation is excited to introduce "The Twenty-Five Club" which recognizes charitable gifts to our Forever Saints Day/Alumni Appeal efforts of $250 or more through June 30, 2023.

Homecoming is a great opportunity for alumni to return to their roots and supporters to re-connect! Xavier will be celebrating Homecoming Week Oct. 2-6 and there are several events during this week alumni are welcome to join us for:
Wednesday, Oct. 4th: Homecoming Mass
9:50 a.m. | Ron Thillen Gymnasium | Xavier High School
Join us as we celebrate our Homecoming Mass, which will be celebrated by XHS alumnus, Fr. Ben Valentine (X14).
Thursday, Oct. 5th: Homecoming Future Saints Pep Walk
6-7 p.m. | Main Entrance Walk | Xavier High School
This is a great opportunity for alumni with little “future Saints” to meet and greet the Saints of today, who will be representing their respective activities and offering treats for our guests. Visitors can then stick around for our “light the night” pep rally in the gym.
THE SAINTS SHOP WILL BE OPEN FROM 6-7:00 PM.
*In the event of inclement weather, this event will move indoors at Xavier.
Thursday, Oct. 5th: Homecoming “Light the Night” Pep Rally/Coronation/Bonfire
7-8 p.m. | Ron Thillen Gymnasium | Xavier High School
Don’t miss our “Light the Night” Homecoming Pep Rally featuring lighting effects and glow-in-the-dark fun. The event will feature the Marching Saints, Xavier Cheerleaders, Xavier Dance Team, games, and will conclude with the coronation of our 2023 Homecoming King and Queen and traditional bonfire outside (weather permitting). Make sure to wear your glow-in-the-dark accessories and/or neon attire to help us light the night!
Friday, Oct. 6th: Homecoming Football Game & Hall of Fame
7:30 p.m. | Saints Field | Xavier vs. Oskaloosa
On Friday, October 6, 2023, we will be welcoming some 'xceptional individuals to the LaSalle-Regis-Xavier Alumni Hall of Fame! The induction will take place at halftime of Xavier's Homecoming football game vs. Oskaloosa. Varsity kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
THE SAINTS SHOP WILL BE OPEN FROM 6-8:00 PM.

Xavier also offers Mass on most Friday mornings during the school year in the XHS chapel. Guests are welcome to join us for these as well! Make sure to check the Xavier calendar prior to attending to verify Friday Mass will be offered..
Alumni and guests are always welcome to come help cheer the Saints on to victory! Xavier’s athletic program is one of the most successful in the state of Iowa. Since opening its doors in 1998, Xavier has amassed a total of 47 team state championships in IHSAA/IGHSAU-sanctioned sports. During that time, Xavier has also produced more than 160 first-team All State/individual state champions across various sports.

The XHS Performing Arts Department is proud to present its 2023 Fall Musical: Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.” An adaptation of the classic fairy tale, the XHS cast and crew bring to life a musical love story of magic, dance, and some new additions for those familiar with Disney’s version of this story.

Save the date for Season 8 of Dancing with the Saints! Join us for an fun-filled, energy-infused evening as our 10 Xavier community "stars" pair with 10 area dance pros to perform and compete for your voting donations. Recent Dancing with the Saints live events have been held in front of sell-out crowds in excess of 1,000 guests. Dancing with the Saints has raised over $1 Million since its inception in 2016 for various project needs at Xavier. Season 8 proceeds will again go to support K-12 Xavier Catholic School teachers via the Xavier Impact Fund. The dancing couple with the most voting donation dollars will be crowned our DWTS Season 8 "People's Choice" Champions! Voting Voting will open on October 30, 2023 and close at the conclusion of our live event on January 13, 2024. Tickets Tickets for the live event will go on sale online on November 6, 2023.

Save the Date for “Forever Saints Day” and tune in on April 18, 2024. This is a day to celebrate our Catholic school heritage and future. Hear from special guests throughout the day as we visit with some familiar faces who have been a part of our story and help support K-12 Xavier Catholic School teachers by offering a gift to the Xavier Impact Fund.
