Members of Regis High School Class of 1959 recently celebrated their 60th class reunion. Among other festivities, the reunion included a tour and luncheon at Xavier High School, hosted by former XHS president, Tom Keating. The LaSalle High School Class of 1969 celebrated their 50th reunion August 23-25. Forty five classmates participated in activities throughout the weekend, which included a gathering at the Union Station, a tour of Xavier High School, lunch at the Lion’s Bridge Brewing Co., a historic tour of Cedar Rapids, and dinner at Elmcrest Country Club. The weekend concluded with brunch at the Longbranch. 

The Regis High School Class of 1979 celebrated their 40th reunion on June 28 & 29. Activities included gathering at Iowa Brewing Co. and a social/dinner at Knights of Columbus 909 Hall.

Members of Xavier’s first graduating class, the XHS Class of 1999, gathered for their 20th class reunion in August. The group was able to take in The Pork Tornadoes show at Vets Memorial Stadium, a band that features a pair of XHS alums in its lineup with Mike Schulte (X00) on drums and Jerry Lorenson (X99) on keyboard.
