Cross Country
Your Saints Girls and Boys cross country teams competed at the West Delaware Invitational on Tuesday. Both teams competed well and where led by Hannah Denman 13th, Lizzy Schmitt 21st, and Jack Renning 6th overall. Congratulations to these individuals and both teams.
Both teams will run Today in the MVC supermeet held at Iowa City Kickers Soccer Club.
Football
The #2 ranked 3A Xavier Saints Football team took down Dubuque Wahlert 42-0 last Friday. Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the Football team. They move to 6-0 on the season.
Tomorrow the Saints travel to Epworth to take on #1 ranked Western Dubuque in district football action.
Girls Swimming
Xavier Swimmers at CR Kennedy & CR Washington were in action this past Tuesday. Both teams competed well and the ladies at each school continued their success in the pool.

Boys Golf
The boys second MVC Divisional was played on Friday. They finished 4th overall and landed four individuals on the 2nd All-Divisional Team. Freshman Charlie Allen (232), senior Wes Johnson (238), juniors Matthew Schmit (239) and Clayton Nurre (244).
On Monday the boys golf team finished 3rd overall at their district meet to qualify for the state meet tomorrow and Saturday at The Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City.
Congratulations to the team and coaches on this accomplishment. Good luck at State!
Volleyball
The Xavier Saints Volleyball still hold the number 1 ranking in class 4A. The Saints traveled to Chicago to play in the Asics Challenge held at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School. They made the silver bracket for the first time in school history and finished 14th overall. On Tuesday, the Saints defeated Dubuque Senior 3-0 on senior night.
Congratulations, and thank you seniors for all you have done for Xavier Volleyball. They finish the regular season on Tuesday 10/15 at Cedar Rapids Washington
Marching Band
Congratulations to all of our Marching Saints on their 1st place finish in the Bands across the Prairie Invitational on Saturday. The Marching Saints received Best Percussion and the People’s Choice Award! They also finished 3rd overall at the Five Seasons Marching Festival on Saturday as well. Congratulations to everyone involved!
They will be in action again this Saturday as they head to the State Marching Band competition at Kingston Stadium.
