Congratulations to the following girls who placed in the top 3 in their events last night at the track meet: Ava VanBerkum placed 1st in the High Jump, Jaclyn Meyer placed 3rd in the Long Jump and 3rd in the 200 meter dash, Lucy Oehler placed 2nd in the 200m dash, Mia Deegan placed 1st in the 3000 meter run, Naomi Durin was 1st in the 100 meter dash and the 100m Hurdles, Emma Arnold placed 2nd in the 400m Hurdles, The 4x800 relay placed 2nd with the team of Emma Arnold, Keira Richmond, Annabelle Neal and Nora Maloney, The 4x100 relay placed 2nd with the team of Naomi Durin, Braylen Conlon, and Olivia Neal and Kate Weiss. The team also placed 2nd overall!
Girls Golf
The Girls’ Golf Team opened their season in style on Monday with a team score of 177 and 2 wins over Host Iowa City Regina with 198 & Mid-Prairie. Scoring for the Saints were: Meera Julka (medalist with a 43), Mehar Julka (runner-up medalist with a 44), Casey Gannon & Jenna Kramer (both with a 45), and Kyla Johnson & Anna Esker (both shot 50 to round out the team effort).
