GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: February 16, 2024

Girls Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Lilly and XHS Girls Basketball on their 51-28 4A Regional Quarterfinal victory at North Scott on Wednesday! The Saints now travel to Central DeWitt on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM. 

Boys Basketball
Good luck to Coach Freeman and the XHS Boys Basketball team as they begin postseason play on the road at Maquoketa on Monday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Wrestling 
Congratulations to Elliott Gnewuch (Fr. 113 lbs), Jack Foster (Jr. 126 lbs), Adam Cook (Sr. 144 lbs), Ronan Thomas (Sr. 175 lbs), Jean Ngoma (Jr. 215 lbs), and Eddie Becu (Sr. 285 lbs) for qualifying for the state wrestling tournament! Bowling
Congratulations to Miranda Nolte on punching her ticket to the State Individual bowling tournament.  The State tournament will be held on Monday, Feb. 19th, at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo  beginning at 9:00am. Good Luck Miranda!

Jazz Band
Congratulations to Xavier Jazz Band One's Meredith Beer (Alto Saxophone), Noah Upah (Trombone), Sophia Kepros (Trumpet), and Liam Perreault (Trombone) on earning Outstanding Soloist honors at Thursday's Tallcorn Jazz Festival at UNI!

Show Choir
Congratulations to Mr. Schroetter and Xavier Xhilaration  for earning 2nd place in 4A division, qualifying for finals and placing 3rd place in finals at Keokuk on Saturday!
