GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: January 18, 2024

Girls Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Lilly and the girls basketball team as they defteated Waterloo West Tuesday night. A special congratulations to Libby Fandel for scoring her 1,000th point in her career. She was only the 2nd Xavier Girls Basketball player to do so! The Saints will host Cedar Falls on Friday night. We will welcome our future Saint cheerleaders on Friday as well!

Boys Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Freeman and the Boys Basketball team on their 66-51 victory over Waterloo West on Tuesday! The Saints will travel to Cedar Falls on Friday.

Speech
Good luck to Coach Davidson and the Xavier Speech team as they compete at the Large Group District event in Monticello on Saturday! The Speech team will host its Large Group Showcase at Xavier on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.

Wrestling
Good luck to Coach Chambers and Coach Reicks as both the boys and girls wrestling teams host CR Jefferson tonight in the Ron Thillen Gym. Tonight we will welcome our future Saints!

Bowling
Good luck to Xavier Bowling as they host Cedar Falls tomorrow at May City Bowl. Meet time is scheduled for 3:45 PM.

Boys Swimming
Good luck to our boys swimmers who will be competing in the MVC Swim Championships at Linn-Mar on Saturday! Meet time is scheduled for 12:30 PM.

Jazz Band
Xavier Jazz Band will compete at the State Jazz Band Festival at Mount Vernon on Monday. Good luck to Mr. Allard and the Saints!
