GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: March 30, 2023

Boys Track

Congratulations to the following members of the boy's track team who placed in the top 3 in their event at the Steve Roth Relays yesterday. In the 100m Dash - Aidan McDermott placed 3rd, in the 400m Hurdles - Marcus Camacho placed 2nd, in the 110 High Hurdles - Grayson Hartman placed 1st, in the Distance Medley Relay - Grayson Hartman, Aidan McDermott, Jevin Rexroth, Marcus Camacho placed 1st, and Grayson also attained the Blue Standard and automatically qualified for the Drake Relays! 

Girls Track

Congratulations to the following girls who placed in the top 3 in their events at the track meet on Tuesday: Naomi Durin placed 2nd in the 100-meter hurdles, Emma Arnold placed 2nd in the 400-meter hurdles, the 4 X 100 team placed 3rd with Naomi Durin, Braylen Colon, Kate Weiss, and Olivia Neal, the 4 X 400 team placed 3rd with Annabelle Neal, Elena Schmit, Nora Maloney, Naomi Durin, the 4 X 800 team placed 2nd with Keira Richmond, Annabelle Neal, Elena Schmit, and Nora Maloney, the distance medley team placed 3rd with Braylen Conlon, Regan Muhlbauer, Kate Weiss, and Annabelle Neal, the shuttle hurdle relay placed 2nd with Emma Arnold, Ava Van Berkem, Jaclyn Meyer, and Naomi Durin, and Jaclyn Meyer placed 3rd in the long jump.

Girls Golf

Congratulations to Coach Kadlec and the girl's golf team who opened their season in style with a team score of 177 and 2 wins over Iowa City Regina and Mid-Prairie.

The meet medalist was Meera Julka shooting a 43 and the runner-up medalist was Mehar Julka with a 44!
