GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: November 10, 2022

Swimming:
Congratulations to the following swimmers who have qualified for the State swim meet in the following events: Lilly Anctil qualified in the 400 Free relay, the 200 medley relay, the 50 free, and the 200 Free relay. Maria Trotta qualified in the 200 medley relay, the 50 free, the 100 free, and the 200 Free relay. Casey Gannon qualified in the 400 Free relay,  200 medley relay, the 200 IM, and the 500 freestyle. Also, congratulations to Ellanor Morrissey who qualified as an alternate with her co-op team at CR Washington.

The Girls State Swim Meet will be held Nov. 11 and 12 in Marshalltown and will be streamed via the IGHSAU Network. More information can be found here.

Girls Basketball

The girls basketball team began practice on Monday. Their first game is on November 22nd at Davenport Assumption.

Football:

Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the football team on their 4A Quarterfinal victory over Indianola on Friday by a score of 23-6. The #1 Saints advance to the semifinal game taking on #6 North Scott tonight at the UNI-Dome. Find more information about tonight's game here.

Drama

Good Luck to Mr. Cervantes, Mr. Schroetter, and all members of the cast and crew of Guys and Dolls which will be performed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the Regis/LaSalle Theater. Showtimes are at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 PM on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.
