GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: November 2, 2023

Football: 
Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the football team on their thrilling come from behind win against Indianola in the 1st round State playoff game on Friday! Good luck to the Saints as they head to North Polk tomorrow night in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Volleyball:
The Saints lost a heartbreaker in five sets to Lewis Central in Monday night's state quarterfinal game. Congratulations to Coach Weiland and the volleyball team on an 'xceptional season and advancing to State for the eight consecutive season!

Girls Swimming:
Good luck to Kate Deegan as she competes in the state qualifier diving meet at Linn-Mar on Thursday! Good luck to Lilly Anctil, Nicole Dworzynski, Julia Foerster, Sarah Foerster, Grace Kane, Lydia Lueth, Ella Rushton, Maria Trotta, and Natalie Parsons as they compete in the state qualifier swimming meet at Dubuque Senior on Saturday!

Dance:
Congratulations to Olivia Neal and Sophie Beenkin as both advanced to the State Solo Championships November 29-30, December 1, 2023 at Wells Fargo Arena & Hy-Vee Hall, in Des Moines.

Cross Country:
Congratulations to Cross Country runner, Mia Deegan as she competed at the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday. Mia had a top 50 finish!

Musical:
