GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: November 30, 2023

Girls Basketball
Congrats to Coach Lilly and XHS Girls Basketball on opening their season with 55-31 victory over Davenport Assumption on November 21st. Good luck team as they host CR Kennedy tomorrow night - tip off is set for 7:30PM. Also good luck on Saturay as they host Waverly-Shell Rock at 2:30 PM.

Boys Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Freeman and the boys basketball team on their 49-41 victory over Charles City. The Saints will take on Waverly Shell Rock on Saturday at home. Game time is 3:45PM.

Boys Swimming
Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their events on Tuesday- For CRW; Joe Semelroth placed 1st in the 200 Yd medley Relay and the 200 Yd Free Relay and placed 2nd in the 100 Yd Free, Remy Barton placec 1st in the 400 Yd Free Relay, 2nd in the 100 Yd Fly and 3rd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, Luke Person placed 3rd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 200 Yd IM and the 200 Free Relay, Carter Walton placed 3rd in the 200 Fre Relay and the 400 Yd Free Relay, Anthony Trotta placed 3rd in the 200 Free Relay.

Wrestling
Good luck to Coach Chambers, Coach Reicks and the Boys and Girls Wrestling teams as they host IC Liberty tonight in an MVC dual meet here at Xavier. Varsity is slated to start at 7:00 PM.

Bowling
Good Luck to Coach Camacho and the girls and boys bowling teams as they compete against Linn Mar tomorrow at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center. Match begins at 3:00PM.

Band
Good Luck to Mr. Allard and the Honor Band students who will be traveling to Oelwein on Saturday for the NEIBA District Honor Band performance. Concert will begin at 7:00PM.
