GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: November 7, 2024

Football
The Football team beat Norwalk on Friday, November 1st by a score of 35 to 14.
Congratulations to Coach Schulte and all members of the team on an outstanding
first round playoff victory! The Saints (7-3) play in a 4A Quarterfinal on Friday,
November 8th at North Polk (10-0). Good luck to Coach Schulte and all members
of the football team as the “road to the dome” marches on!

Cross Country
The 3A State Cross Country Meet was held on Friday, November 1st.
Congratulations to the following Saints on their finish at state:

• Andrew Allen placed 17th
• Mia Deegan placed 18th
• Kaleb Wilgenbusch placed 90th

Xavier Dance Team
The Dance team performed on Saturday, November 2nd in the “Stack the Stands”
competition hosted by Cedar Rapids Prairie High School. The Saints placed 1st in
the Small Varsity Hip Hop category and placed 2nd in the Small Varsity Pom
competition. Congratulations to the following Soloists:

• Olivia Neal – 5th place, 11th Grade Division
• Marley Beenken – 7th place, 10th Grade Division
• Clairre Regennitter – 8th place, 10th Grade Division
• Kinsley Witter – 9th place, 9th Grade Division

Swimming
The Girls Swimming Regional Meet is scheduled for, Saturday, November 9th at
Dubuque Hempstead. Meet time is noon. Good luck to all Xavier girls competing
to qualify for State!

Fall Musical
The Fall Musical, State Fair, will be held in the Regis-LaSalle Theatre on the
following dates:

• Friday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m.
