GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: October 12, 2023

Marching Band
Congratulations to Mr. Allard and the Marching Saints on earning a Division 1 rating at the State Marching Band Festival this past Saturday! This is the band program's 11th straight Division 1 rating. The band will compete at the Waukee Marching Band Classic on Saturday. Performance time is scheduled for 5:45 PM. 

Football
Congratulations to Coach Schulte and Xavier Football on their 42-0 victory over Oskaloosa last Friday! Good luck to the Saints as they travel to Clear Creek Amana on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7:30PM.

Volleyball
Congratulations to Coach Weiland and the Volleyball team on placing 2nd at the MVC tournament on Tuesday! The Saints will open postseason regional play at Xavier on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7:00 PM against the winner of Decorah/Mason City. 

Golf
Congratulations to Coach Schiltz and Xavier Boys Golf on qualifying for the Class 4A state meet last week where the Saints placed 8th among the largest schools in Iowa, capping off what was statistically one of the program's most successful seasons.

Cross Country
Good luck to Xavier Cross Country as they compete in the MVC Divisional Meet this afternoon at the Dubuque Soccer Complex. Live results here...

Musical
Tickets are now on sale for the XHS fall musical, Cinderella. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased here.
