GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: October 31, 2019

Cross Country
Congratulations to  Xavier Saints Hannah Denman on finishing 14th overall and Jack Renning on finishing 2nd overall at last week’s district qualifying meet.
The State Cross Country Meet will be at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge on Saturday November 2nd.  The 3A Girls will run at 12:00 and 3A Boys will run at 12:30.  Good luck Saints!

Football
The ranked 3A Xavier Saints Football team finished the regular season with a 52-12 victory over Marion last Friday.  Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the team. The Saints finished 8-1 on the year.  

Tomorrow, the Saints will travel to North Scott for the 3A 1st round playoff game with the Lancers.  Kick-off is set for 7:00pm.  Tickets are available for purchase at the gate of the stadium.  

Girls Swimming
Good luck to our Saints swimmers for both CRK and CRW. They swim in their Regional Meet on Saturday November 2nd at Grinnell College starting at 12:00pm. 
The Iowa High School State Swimming and Diving Meet is held November 8-9 at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA.

Volleyball
The Xavier Saints Volleyball team defeated Newton 3-0 in the 4A Regional Semi-Final on Tuesday.  They will now host Gilbert on Monday November 4th in the 4A Regional Final. Match time is set for 7:00pm.  Good luck to coach Filer and the ladies of the Saints Volleyball team.    

Ticket prices for the match at $6 for all spectators.  No activities passes will be accepted.
State Volleyball will be at the US Cellular Center November 12-15

Band:
Congrats to all of our Xavier Saints Band Students who auditioned for All-State this past week!
Congrats to Randall Kinner on being named 1st Alternate on Percussion.

Fall Musical
Our fall musical "Beauty and the Beast" will be performed in the Regis/LaSalle Theatre on  November 15th & 16th at 7:00PM and November 17th @ 2:00PM. Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 4th, in the Activities Office from 7:30am-3:00pm daily. Cost is $10 for Adults and $6 for students K-12 -Senior Citizens $6

Upcoming Winter Sports Parent Meetings:
Girls Basketball Parent Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:30PM in the Xavier Commons
