GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: September 21, 2023

Volleyball
Congrats to the Xavier Volleyball team as they the Saints defeated Marion, Burlington, North Scott, and Benton to claim the Benton Invitational title on Saturday!

The Saints defeated Dubuque Wahlert on Tuesday 3-1 to boost their record to 15-3 on the season.

Girls Swimming
Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their events at the Pirate Invite over the weekend:

• Lilly Anctil placed 1st in the 400 Yd Free Relay, 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay and the 50 Yd Freestyle and 3rd in the 100 Yd Freestyle,
• Maria Trotta placed 1st in the 400 Yd Free Relay, 2nd in the 100 Yd Freestyle and the 200 Yd Medley Relay and was 3rd in the 50 Yd Freestyle

Boys Golf
Congratulations to the boys Golf Team as they won their meet at Wildcat against CR Prairie, CR Kennedy, and Dubuque Hempstead. Quincey Johnson led the Saints with a 2nd place finish!

The Saints will be in action again on Monday in the MVC Divisional at Airport National in Cedar Rapids.

Good luck to the Xavier Football Team on Friday as they travel to Clinton.

Cross Country
Good luck to the Xavier Cross Country teams as they head to Iowa City to compete at Kickers Soccer Complex on Monday!

Marching Band
Good luck to the Xavier Marching Band as they compete at Linn-Mar (AM) and Pella (PM) on Saturday!
