Boys Soccer:
Boys soccer defeated Cedar Rapids Washington on Tuesday 2-0. They move to 2-3 on the year overall. Tonight the boys will travel to Prairie for the JV/Varsity double header. The games are scheduled for 5:30 and 7:15pm.
Next week, the boys will travel to Jefferson on Tuesday followed by a home game Thursday against Hempstead.
Girls Soccer:
Girls soccer defeated Cedar Rapids Washington on Monday 8-0. They moved to 3-2 overall on the year. Tonight, the ladies will host Prairie in a JV/Varsity double header. The JV will play at 5:30 with varsity to follow at 7:15pm.
Next week, the girls take on Jefferson at Home on Monday followed by a road game at Hempstead on Thursday.
Girls Golf:
The Girls golf team competed at Bunker Hill in Dubuque on Tuesday. Kyla Johnson led the team with a personal best score of 44. Today, the girls will be taking part in the CRANDIC meet hosted by Prairie at Airport National. Tomorrow, the girls are scheduled to play in Waterloo for a non conference quad.
Next week, the girls head to the Linn-Mar Invitational on Tuesday. Thursday, they travel across town to play in an MVC quad at Ellis.
Track and Field:
Boys Track headed to Alburnett on Tuesday. Here are those who finished as top 3 placewinners:

The 4x800m Relay made up of Marcus Camacho, Zack Pisney, Gunnar Black, Josef Lemker placed 2nd
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay made up of Will Hacke, Cole Beasler-Weber, Quinn Oleson, Grayson Hartman placed 2nd
Aidan McDermott placed 2nd in the 100m Dash
Jevin Rexroth place 3rd in the 400m Dash
Grayson Hartman placed 1st in 110 High Hurdles
Josef Lemker placed 3rd 800m Run
Aidan McDermott placed 2nd in the 200m Dash
The 4x100m Relay made up of Luke Efting, Grayson Hartman, Michael Cunningham, Aidan McDermott placed 1st

The Girls team headed to Dubuque Senior for the Ram invitational. Here are the events that finished in the top 3 overall:
Emma Arnold placed 1st in 400m hurdles setting a NEW school record!
Ava VanBerkum placed 3rd in the high jump
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay team of Emma Arnold, Naomi Durin, Jaclyn Meyer and Sierra Durin placed 2nd
Today, the boys will be on the road at Dubuque Senior and the girls travel to Assumption for their invite.
Next week, both boys and girls will be at home on Tuesday as we host the 23rd Xavier Invitational.
Tennis:
Both boys and girls tennis teams won their matches on Tuesday against CR Prairie. The girls won by a score of 9-0 and the boys won by a score of 8-1. The makeup matches with Jefferson were canceled again due to weather and have been rescheduled for May 4th.
Both teams will compete today against Dubuque Hempstead. Boys are at home and the Girls will travel to Dubuque. Matches begin at 4:00PM

On Monday, Xavier will host the Xavier Catholic Schools Jazz festival starting at 7:00pm in the Theater
On Wednesday, we will host our next National Signing Day event. We have five seniors making their commitment to go to college and continue their athletic career. The signing will take place at 7:15am in the LMC on Wednesday.
