Band
Saturday, the our Saints band students will be taking part in the NEIBA District Honor Band held at Oelwein High School.
Boys Basketball:
The boys basketball team opened their season Tuesday at Mount Pleasant. They picked up the 47-37 point victory.
Saturday, the Saints will follow the girls in a varsity double header and play Waverly-Shell Rock in non-conference play here at Xavier. The boys tip is set for 3:30pm.
Bowling:
The Saints Bowling teams opened their season Tuesday against Iowa City High. Congratulations to the boys bowling team as they defeated City High.

Dance
The Xavier Dance team had a great weekend at the DTU Regional competition held in Des Moines on November 20th. They finished as Regional Champions for their Hip Hop routine as well as Outstanding Artistry.
Today and tomorrow, the Dance team will be at the State Championships in Des Moines. Solos and Hip Hop will perform on Thursday and the Pom routine will be on Friday. The soloists are: Berkeley Johnson, Sara Gundack, Maegan Reininga, Olivia wood, Reegan Flugge, and Alyssa Ramler.
Football:
The Saints ended their season as the class 4A State Runner-Up with an overall record of 11-2 on Thursday November 18th. This is the 5th time in the last six years that the Saints have made the Semi-Finals at the UNI Dome.

Girls Basketball:
Coach Lilly and the Girls basketball team are off to a great start. They are 2-0 on the year picking up wins on Tuesday November 23rd against Assumption 62-25 and on Saturday the 27th against Solon 68-54.
On Tuesday this week, they defeated Waterloo East 68-36
They will be back in action tomorrow as they host Linn-Mar in their MVC matchup. The varsity tip is set for 7:30pm. Saturday, the Saints will be taking on Waverly-Shell Rock in a non-conference game here at Xavier with a tip time of 2:00pm.
Robotics:
Congrats to the Robotics team for winning 3 of their matches at Washington on Tuesday evening. The team is currently ranked 7th in their league.
Swimming and Diving
Boys Swimming and Diving is in full swing. We have multiple swimmers at all of the Cedar Rapids schools through our co-op agreement with them.
Congratulations to the the following swimmers on placing in the top 3 at their swim meet on Tuesday~
CRK-
Spencer Kramer placed 1st in the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay, 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay and the 100 Yd Freestyle Relay and 3rd in the 200 Yd IM.
CRW-
Brian Foerster placed 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 100 Yd Breaststroke and 3rd in the 400 Yd Freestyle Relay.
Jack Dake placed 3rd in the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay
Seth Williams placed 3rd in the 400 Yd Freestyle Relay
Wrestling:
The wrestling team opens their season tonight against Iowa City West here at Xavier. The JV matches start at 6:15 followed by the varsity at 7:00pm.
Friday and Saturday, the Saints will be at the Cliff Keen Invitational at Independence.
