Boys Basketball:
The boys basketball team currently sits at 9-7 (7-5) on the season. Tuesday, they defeated Dubuque Hempstead on the road 50-48. Friday, the boys will host Prairie in part 2 of the Varsity Boy/Girl doubleheader here at Xavier. Boys tip is set for 7:30pm.
Next week, the boys will be home against Kennedy on Tuesday and on the road at Jefferson on Friday.
Bowling:
The bowling teams headed to Cherry Lanes in Dubuque for the MVC Valley Divisional Meet hosted by Dubuque Senior on Thursday last week. Top finishers from the day were:
Girls High game: Miranda Nolte 156, High Series Miranda Nolte with 305
Boys High Game: Jacob Sires 221, High Series Jacob Sires 413
Bowling will be back in action tonight as they host Kennedy tonight for senior night. Bowling will start at 3:00pm.
Girls Basketball:
Coach Lilly and the Girls basketball team moved to 12-6 (9-3) on the year. The Saints picked up the victory over Dubuque Hempstead 46-39 on Tuesday.
Friday this week, the girls will play the 6:00pm game as part of the Boy/Girl doubleheader against Prairie
Next week, the ladies will be on the road against Kennedy and then at home for their regular season finally on Friday against Jefferson.
Band:
The Xavier Catholic School band festival will be next Wednesday here at Xavier. The concert starts at 5:00pm.
Show Choir:
Both Xhiliaration and Xuberance on a successful 1st performance. They competed at the Big Dance competition at Davenport North this past Saturday. Xhil finished 7th overall.
They will be in competition again this weekend as they travel to Mount Pleasant for the “Music in Motion” competition.
Xavier’s Xtravaganza is scheduled for Saturday March 5th.
Speech:
Saturday, our Saints in Large Group Speech will be headed to the State competition held at Kennedy. The following groups will be performing:

Swimming and Diving
Recently, the MVC All Conference selections came out. Those are as follows:
District Swimming is this Saturday for both CRK and CRW. They will compete over at Linn-Mar. State Swimming will be February 11th and 12th.
Wrestling:
The wrestling team took part in the MVC Championships last Saturday hosted by Jefferson. Here are the final places
Tonight, the team will host Waterloo East in their Final Regular Season dual. It is also Senior Night for the program. Varsity Wrestling will start at 7:00pm.
Next Week, the team will head to Marshalltown for the Class 3A Wrestling Districts with a chance to qualify for the State Tournament in Des Moines.
