Fall Academic All-Conference/District and Academic All-State

Over the course of our fall activities, Xavier had 77 student athletes make Academic All-conference, All-District, or All-State teams.  More All-State teams will be released over the coming weeks.  Congratulations to the following students on this honor and for representing Xavier in the classroom as well as in competition.

Dance

The Dance Team competed in Regional competition this past weekend. Congratulations to the following individuals who placed in the solo category: In the Jr solo category -Alyssa Ramler placed 10th,  Delaney Boge placed 8th and Reagan Flugge placed 3rd. In the Senior Solo category, Sara Gundacker placed 1st.  The team finished 4th overall!

 

The Dance team competed virtually for the 2020 State Dance competition originally scheduled to be in Des Moines.  Our girls put their routine on display Monday evening for family members and the final recording.  They will find out results the first week of December!  Good Luck ladies! 

Swimming

Congratulations to the four Saints that swam in the 202 IGHSAU State Meet this past weekend in Marshalltown!  Anne Baumann, Casey Gannon, Maria Trotta, & Lucy Pfab 

We had three swimmers that earned a top 10 finish in one of their events.  

• Anne Baumann and Casey Gannon: 9th in 200 Medley Relay
• Maria Trotta: 6th in the 200 Freestyle Relay

Football:

Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the football team.  The Saints ended their season with a Semi-Finals trip to the UNI Dome last Thursday.  They finished the season 10-1 overall and undefeated in district play.  

Fall Play:

Congratulations to the cast and crew of our fall drama production “Noises Off.”  The show was a great success and very entertaining!

Band and Choir:

Congratulations to our All-State music selections.

Band:

Randall Kinner, percussion – selected to the All State Orchestra which means he’s the top percussionist in the NE Iowa district, Arnold Mutasingwa, clarinet – selected to the All State Band

Were named as alternates to the All-State Band
