2023 Graduation Activities
Baccalaureate Mass
Our Baccalaureate Mass for graduates and their parents will be held on Wednesday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ron Thillen Gymnasium. An extended evening of celebrating the Class of 2023 will occur. It will include a Mass and guest speakers. This is a dress up occasion for seniors, but no caps and gowns.
Commencement
Graduation for the Class of 2023 is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the Ron Thillen Gymnasium. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. with reserved seating for parents of the graduates. Senior boys must be dressed in dress slacks, dress shirts with collars, a tie, socks and dress shoes. Senior girls must be dressed in a dress or dress blouse with a dress skirt or dress pants and dress shoes. All seniors will wear their graduation gowns, caps, and tassels.

Senior Art Show
When: Wednesday, May 17th on the evening of Baccalaureate between mass and our invited speakers
Where: Xavier Commons
Who: Any senior who has taken an art class here at Xavier. If you wish to bring in something from outside of school it must be approved first.
What you need to do:
- Start bringing in art work to the art room Monday, May 15th.
- For any digital artwork: photography, graphic design, or digital drawings, contact Ms. Venteicher so these can be printed.
- For any video, please contact Ms. Venteicher.
- Bring the requested information listed below with your work in order for it to be displayed.
- If you have digital artwork such as photography, graphic design, or digital drawings please contact Ms. Venteicher so that we can get those printed.
- If you want to show a video you made, please contact Ms. Venteicher.
On a sheet of paper include the following items and answers to the questions:
- Senior picture
- What art classes have you taken?
- Where are you going to school next year?
- What are your future plans?
- If you are going to continue creating art, how do you plan on doing it?
- What is your favorite memory in art if you have one?
- List any art contests you have participated in and the results
- Please create an interesting border or snazzy it up somehow!
Students participating in the art show must meet in the Xavier art room to set up their work on May 17th at the end of the school day (1:45 pm). See Ms. Venteicher or Mrs. Jordan with questions or conflicts.
