The Xavier family mourns the loss of legendary coach, teacher, alumnus, and administrator, Bob "Red" Jennings (IC45), who peacefully entered eternal rest last week. We were blessed to have Coach Jennings here at Xavier several times in recent years and he was still a fountain of wisdom, history and toughness. Coach Jennings won 330 games in his 18 year basketball coaching tenure at Immaculate Conception and Regis High Schools and led the Royals to the outright 1962 state title (when classes did not yet exist and only one champion was crowned). Along the way, he impacted the lives of so many young people and and represents the foundation of excellence our Catholic community is built upon. Rest in peace, Coach.
