Our family’s experience at Xavier has been incredibly positive. Our past and current students are definitely at a school where they are challenged to become the very best versions of themselves. As a family, we’ve experienced everything from the incredible joy and celebration of state championships to participating in meaningful service projects and academic endeavors. Our kids have stood alongside classmates who are facing personal challenges and who have experienced tragedy -- all within the context our Catholic faith which helps us find true meaning in times of suffering and in times of joy. Our kids are surrounded on a daily basis with an administration, faculty, coaches and directors of the highest caliber.
There’s an analogy about building a ship in a safe harbor. That’s what Xavier is for our family. Not perfect, no school is, but an ideal place for students where faith abounds and where students learn, grow and find their own way every day. It’s a place where our kids are known and understood … it is a true community of faith.
Our biggest factor in deciding to have our kids attend Xavier was the Catholic faith component. We realize that there are other great academic offerings at other schools. What our children couldn’t get at those schools though was Adoration, Mass, Kairos retreats, daily prayer, and real faith formation. These were essentials for us as parents in partnering with Xavier.
Xavier is a special place. We love the high expectations that are set for our kids by coaches, teachers and administration. We love the support they get on the way to meeting or exceeding those expectations. We are so very glad Xavier is a second home for our kids. Go Saints!
