Xavier High School junior, Joe Semelroth, recently earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT exam. Earning a perfect score of 36 on the ACT is extremely rare. According to ACT, less than 0.1 percent of test takers receive a perfect score. While it is not impossible, it requires a high level of academic knowledge and excellent test-taking skills.
The ACT test is a standardized college admissions exam that assesses high school students' academic readiness for college-level coursework. The test measures a student's knowledge in English, math, reading, and science, and includes an optional writing section. The ACT is widely accepted by colleges and universities in the United States and is used to help determine admission decisions, scholarship eligibility, and course placement.
