XHS Calendar Syncing and Notifications

Xavier uses RSchoolToday for its calendar, which is used by many area high schools (including all schools in the Mississippi Valley Conference). This move enables staff to update the calendar (and athletic schedules) with greater efficiency, ensuring that users are seeing the most up-to-date information as it relates to school events. It also gives the user the ability to receive notifications and use an app on specific activities.

You can sync the Xavier calendar with Google, Outlook or ICAL
For instructions on how to sync the school calendar with your device’s calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, or ICAL). Head to one of the following links to sync a calendar to your device…
IMPORTANT: While these feeds typically will update quickly (i.e. in the event of a cancellation, date/time change, etc.), you may experience a delay between when an event is actually updated and when that is reflected in your calendar’s feed. Consult the calendar on the website or use the app to make sure your event information is accurate and up-to-the-minute.
If you would like to get automatic text and email notifications about any changes/additions to the Xavier calendar on your mobile device, set up an account.
Receive Notifications
You can select the activities/school functions you’d like to get notifications on. For example, in the event a game is postponed, you will receive an email and text alerting you of the change if you select to receive notifications for that activity. You must set up an account to take advantage of this feature.
NOTE: Xavier will continue to automatically send voice, text and email notifications in instances of school delays/closings or in the event of an emergency.
The RSchoolToday “Activity Scheduler” app is available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. This is a handy way to quickly view all events on Xavier’s calendar (or only specific activities you’re interested in seeing).
