An opportunity for Xavier-bound youth to experience competitive basketball in an environment that promotes excellence and character. The goal is help kids develop their skills to the highest level. The months before and after the basketball season present an opportunity to become superior basketball players.

In addition to the daily classes and performances by XHS students, the campers will prepare a show for friends and family on Friday, June 18 @ 5:30 PM

Learn and practice the basketball drills used by the highly successful two-time state champion Xavier High School Basketball program! Players will receive individual and group instruction on the key areas needed to improve their games.

Each camper will be given an opportunity to develop skills in sprinting, longer distance running, starts, relay hand offs, hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put, and discus. The campers will also learn a warm up routine and learn why warming up and cooling down are so important for track & field. Station teaching, drills, games, and relays will be used. On Friday the campers will compete in a mini track meet. Parents are welcome to come and watch. The camp will be run by the Xavier boys track coaches with the help of past and present Xavier track athletes.

Join 2021 Mississippi Valley Conference Division Wrestling Coach of the Year, Ryan Chambers, and members of the Xavier Wrestling coaching staff to learn competitive wrestling skills. This camp is open to any student interested in pursuing the sport of wrestling.
