All Xavier Catholic Schools future Saints are invited to join us for our Future Saints Homecoming Pep Walk on Thursday, Oct. 5th from 6-6:45pm. Meet and greet current XHS Saints, take photos, and enjoy treats & swag. Then all are welcome to stick around for our Homecoming pep rally/coronation/bonfire at 7pm. Make sure to wear your neon to help us light the night!

All Xavier community members are invited to join us for our Homecoming "Light the Night" pep rally, coronation, and bonfire on Thursday, Oct. 5th at 7 p.m. in the Ron Thillen Gym. Those who attend are encouraged to dress in their neon and wear glow-in-the-dark accessories. This event will last approximately one hour and will feature the Marching Saints, XHS Cheerleaders, Xavier Dance Team, introduction of fall varsity activities, crowning of our Homecoming King & Queen, and conclude with a bonfire (weather permitting) outside at Saints Field.

Halftime of Varsity Football Game
The LaSalle-Regis-Xavier Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony coincides with Xavier's Homecoming festivities. This year we will welcome the following five xceptional individuals to the Hall of Fame at Halftime of Xavier Football's home game vs. Oskaloosa on Friday, Oct. 6th:
10pts for each best dressed and 50pts to most all out Community Each day we will have a dress theme! Students who earn ‘best dressed’ will receive spirit points for their community. Keep in mind that shorts, inappropriate messages (drugs/ alcohol), and shoulders are not allowed.
Monday: (New) Jersey Monday
Wear your favorite jersey! Remember no shoulders- it’s cold at Xavier so throw on a sweatshirt or long sleeve under your jersey
Tuesday: Tampa Tuesday
Teachers may ask to have any add-on items removed at anytime Think beach! Sandals are approved for Tuesday only floaties tourist vibes tropical shirts, khakis, binoculars, socks and sandals, sunscreen on your nose, sun hat under the sea shark, fish, and octopus costumes no swimwear shoulders must be covered no shorts no crop tops (stomachs must be covered)

Dance:
The homecoming dance will take place next Saturday, October 7th from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. People will be allowed to enter starting at 7:40 for pictures. Doors are locked at 8:15 and entry will be denied after that time, so BE THERE BEFORE 8:15! The dance is a lock-in, so you will not be allowed to leave the dance until 10:15. Everyone needs to bring a form of ID to get in the dance—whether you attend Xavier or not. Please dress and dance appropriately. Keep Christian modesty in mind.
Read Photography Pictures:
Read Photography will be taking the homecoming photos. They will start taking pictures at around 7:40. They will cost a minimum of $20, so make sure to bring money if you want to buy them.
Tickets:
Tickets will be sold in the commons this Wednesday/Thursday this week and next week (Sep 27th and 28th, Oct 4th and 5th) in the commons after school. Tickets are $7 or $5 with the donation of two canned goods. Students who wish to bring a date from another school other than Xavier will need to have an approved non-Xavier date form submitted before they may purchase tickets.
Diaper Drive: 100pts and 20pts for best House
This year for our annual service drive we are collecting items for the Young Parents Network. Starting October 2nd (Monday), bring in diapers, wipes, pull ups, and new toys for kids to receive spirit points! See point details below! Put all items in your house bins to be collected throughout the month. The community with the most donations gets 100 spirit points, second place gets 80, third place gets 60, fourth place gets 40, and last place gets 20 spirit points.
There will also be points awarded to the House that brings in the most points.
Door Decs: 50pts and 20pts Best House
Door decs have been a tradition for 7 years here at Xavier! In house you will be decorating your doors! Make sure to go all out because the best door will receive spirit points and prizes! The Community with the best doors overall will also receive spirit points.
Pep Assembly: 100-150pts
Come to the Homecoming Pep Rally on October 5th (Thursday) at 7pm to play games for spirit points, watch cheer and dance team perform, see the crowning of your Homecoming queen and king, and socialize by the bonfire! (There will be cookies!!)
RTI Activities: 100pts
Come to the cafeteria or gym during RTI on Tuesday or Thursday to play games and win spirit points and gift cards! SIGN UP IN RTI SCHEDULER. Sign up before spots fill up, limited space available!
