We are excited to welcome the following 'xceptional individuals to our team for the 2022-2023 school year!
We are very excited and blessed to welcome Lynn Holverson as our new principal! Mrs. Holverson served as principal at All Saints Catholic School, where she has been making an impact for the past 13 years as a teacher and administrator. Lynn and her husband, Todd, have been married 26 years and together they have two children, both of whom are Xavier alumni (and attended Xavier Catholic Schools from elementary through high school): Ethan (X16) and Lauren (X22). The Holversons have been members of All Saints Catholic Parish for more than 16 years.
We are blessed to welcome BACK to Xavier Ms. Lilly Boenker! Ms. Boenker will serve as our new Director of Campus Ministry. After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2019, she taught for two years here in our English Department before moving to Denver, CO to pursue a Masters degree in Pastoral Theology at the Augustine Institute. She has now answered the call to return to Xavier as our Campus Ministry Director, where she will advance and further enrich the faith development opportunities for our Saints and our faculty/staff.
Please help us welcome our new chaplain here at Xavier: Fr. Jacob Dunne! Fr. Jake is a native of Cedar Rapids and currently serves as pastor of the Queen of Saints Cluster in southern Benton County (St. John in Blairstown, St. Paul in Newhall, St. Michael in Norway, Immaculate Conception in Van Horne, and St. Patrick in Watkins). Chaplains here at Xavier have made a lasting impact on our Saints and in our community over the years when it comes to helping students grow in their faith. We are blessed to have Fr. Dunne in that position now and are excited to see the impact he will make here at Xavier.
