GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: December 14, 2023

Girls Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Lilly and the girls basketball team on their 52-46 win over Dubuque Hempstead on Tuesday.  The Saints will head to Cedar Falls tonight to take on the Tigers. Tip off is set for 7:30pm. The Saints will play in the Winter Tip Off Classic against DCG @ Johnston HS on Saturday at 11:00am.

Boys Basketball
Congratulations to Coach Freeman and the boys basketball team as they defeated Dubuque Hempstead on Tuesday by a score of 49-39. The boys will host Cedar Falls tonight in an MVC match up beginning at 7:30pm.

Boys Swimming
Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their events on Tuesday - For CRW - Joseph Semelroth placed 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay and was 3rd in the 100 Yd Breaststroke. Remy Barton placed 2nd in the 100 Yd Butterfly, and 3rd in the 200 Yd IM. Good to the swimmers competing for CRW on Saturday @ the Mike Wittmer Invite in Ames beginning @ 11:00am.

Girls Wrestling
Congratulations to Ellie Pfab and Hailey Pfab who both placed 2nd at the Kennedy invite on Monday!  The Girls will wrestle at the Prairie Classic on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.

Boys Wrestling
Congratulations to the following wrestlers who placed in the top 3 at the Marion invite last Saturday: Taitumn Deppe placed 3rd, Ronan Thomas placed 1st, Grant Helmle placed 2nd and Jean Ngoma placed 3rd. Good luck to the boys wrestlers as they head to Independence today in a varsity quad with Solon, CPU, and Independence.

Bowling
Good luck to the boys and girls bowling teams as they compete against City High today at May City Bowl today. The meet starts at 3:45 PM.  Good Luck on Saturday to the boys who will compete in the CR Prairie Baker tournament at Lancer Lanes beginning at 1:00pm.

Robotics
Good Luck to Ms. Geers and the Xavier Robotics team as they will compete on Saturday at Trinity Luthern. Competition begins at 9:00am.
