FOOTBALL

DANCE TEAM

Good luck to our Xavier Saints Dance Team as they travel down to Des Moines to participate in the State Dance Competition tomorrow where they will defend their multiple time state title in their Pom Routine.

 

BAND

Good luck to Ms. Swehla, and all of our Xavier Saints participating in the NEIBA District Honor Band that will be held all day this Saturday at Oelwein High School.

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

• Congrats to Coach Freeman and the entire Boys Basketball Team on their win Tuesday night in their season opener vs Mount Pleasant 54-43!

• The Saints will be in action again Saturday as they host Waverly –Shell Rock in some non-conference action with varsity tipping off @ 3:30pm

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

• Your Xavier Saints Girls Basketball team opened up the season with Davenport Assumption and North Scott last week.  The Saints played well in each game. 

• The Saints will open conference play tomorrow night at home as they take on CR Jefferson. Varsity tip-off is set for 7:30pm.

 

BOYS & GIRLS BOWLING

• Your Xavier Saints Boys & Girls Bowling Teams officially kicked off their season Tuesday taking on Dubuque Hempstead @ May City Bowl

• Good luck to all of our Saints Bowlers as they take on CR Kennedy today at May City Bowl starting at 3:00pm.  

 

BOYS SWIMMING

• Xavier has swimmers participating at CR Kennedy, CR Washington, and CR Jefferson swim programs. Both teams walked away with wins in their meets Tuesday.

• At CRK:

  • Spencer Kramer was 1st in 200 yd Medley Relay, 2nd 200 yd IM, and 1st in 200 yd Freestyle Relay

  • Danny Mulherin was 3rd in 400 yd Freestyle Relay

• At CRW:

  • Seth Williams was 3rd in 200 yd Medley Relay, 3rd in 100 yd Backstroke, 2nd in 400 yd Freestyle Relay

• Congrats to all of our Saint Swimmers on their top finishes!

• Good luck to our Saints Swimmers @ CRW in their invite in Ames Saturday at 11am

 

WRESTLING

• Good luck to Coach Chambers and our Xavier Saints Wrestlers as they open their season today by hosting Iowa City High @7:00pm in their scheduled MVC Dual.

• Also good luck to the Saints tomorrow and Saturday as they compete in the Varsity Cliff Keen Invite at Independence High School. Start times are 2pm Friday and 7am Saturday.
