Football

Congratulations to Michael Cunningham on winning the KCRG Athlete of the Week for his outstanding football season!

 

Girls Basketball

Congratulations to Coach Lilly and the girl's basketball team on their 56-50 win over CR Kennedy on Friday and their 56-47 victory over Waverly Shell Rock on Saturday.  Congratulations to Coach Lilly and the girl's basketball team on their 60-54 victory over Western Dubuque on Tuesday. The Saints are 5-0 on the season.

 

Wrestling

Congratulations to Coach Chambers and the wrestling team on their victory over Liberty High School Thursday night and Dubuque Senior last night on Senior Night.

 

Boys Basketball

Congratulations to Coach Freeman and the boy's basketball team on their 70-53 victory over Center Point Urbana Thursday. Congratulations to the boy's basketball team on their 80-60 win over Waverly Shell Rock on Saturday and their win over Williamsburg on Tuesday by a score of 66-50.

 

Dance:

Congratulations to our dance team who competed at the ISDTA State competition on Thursday. The following girls placed in their event and received Division 1 ratings: Reegan Flugge placed 2nd, Delainey Boge placed 5th, Alyssa Ramler placed 6th, Lainey Reeder placed 9th, Caitlin Lee placed 10th, and Saylor Eggleston received a Division 1 rating. The team was named State Champions in both Division 6 Hip Hop and Division 10 Pom. They also received the “Be Bold” award for hip hop - only 3 given out of 500 routines. 

 

Robotics:

Congratulations to our robotics team, Xcentrics - and our robot - Boris - who competed in Norway on Saturday. They were able to move up to 2nd in our league rank!

 

Bowling

Congratulations to Coach Camacho and the boy's bowling team as they defeated Linn Mar on Friday by a score of 3134 to 3037. Eli Koopman had the high game with a 275 and the high series with a 461. Miranda Nolte had the high game for the girls with a 195 and the high series with a 344.

 

Boys Swimming

Congratulations to Brian Foerster who placed 3rd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay on Saturday at the Ames Invite.

 

Congratulations to the following swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their events on Tuesday. Swimming for Cedar Rapids Kennedy Chase Decker placed 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay, the 200 Yd Freestyle Relay, and 3rd in the 100 Yd Breaststroke

 

Swimming for Cedar Rapids Washington Brian Foerster placed 2nd in the 200 Yd Medley Relay and the 100 Yd Breaststroke, Remy Baron placed 3rd in the 500 Yd Free and 3rd in the 400 Yd Free Relay, Seth Williams placed 3rd in the 100 Yd Backstroke and the 400 Yd Free Relay, and Jack Schimberg placed 2nd in the 200 Yd Free Relay and 3rd in the 400 Yd Free Relay.
