GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: March 13, 2025

Congratulations to Coach Lilly and all members of the Girls Basketball team on winning the 2025 4A State Championship! Libby Fandel & Madden Wilson were selected to the All-Tournament team and Libby was named Captain of the All-Tournament Team.
The IPSWA Girls All State Team has been released. Libby Fandel was selected to the 4A 1st Team and named Miss Iowa Basketball for the 2025 season. Madden Wilson was selected 4A 3rd Team All State. Congratulations Libby and Madden!
The Boys Basketball team beat Knoxville in a 3A State Quarterfinal on March 11th by a score of 52 to 37. The Saints play MOC-Floyd Valley on Thursday, March 13th. Game time is 12:15 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Good luck to Coach Freeman and all members of the team!

The Xavier Boys Basketball Team fell to MOC-Floyd Valley in the State Semifinals with a final scoreof 41-44. Congrats to Coach Freeman and the XHS Boys' Basketball Team on an incredible season. Thank you, seniors!
Jazz Band One placed 2nd at the NEIBA District Festival and earned an automatic spot to compete in the Iowa Jazz Championships on Tuesday, April 8th at Iowa State University beginning at 11:00 a.m. Congratulations and good luck to Band Director Chad Allard and all members of Jazz Band One!
The Individual Events State Speech Contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 15th at North Scott High School. Good luck to Speech Director Scott Davidson and all students who are performing!
