The girls ended their season on the road at Waverly Shell-Rock 43-26 in the Regional Final. They finished the season 15-8 overall.

Both the Boys & Girls Bowling Teams Qualified for State Tournament
Third time this has happened in school history.
Dale Weaver was also named 1st Team All State for Class 2A
Olivia Nolte was named 2nd Team All State for Class 2A
STATE TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
Dale Weaver is the 2A 2020 Individual State Bowling Runner-Up! Dale had a 545 two-game series including a 289 first game.
Olivia Nolte was the highest Girl’s bowler finishing 13th overall.

Russ Camacho was named metro boys coach of the year.

We had 1 Saint advance to the State Tournament, after finishing 2nd in his respective weight classes at the District, State Qualifying meet at Marshalltown: Christian Stanek @ 138
Christian Stanek made his way to the podium at the State Tournament as a sophomore, finishing 6th overall @ 138. Christian also broke the school single season record for takedowns
Senior Ryan Cook broke the School single season record for pins.

We had a total of 10 Saints participate in swimming through our Co-Op agreement with the CR public schools at either CRW, CRK, and CRJ
Seth Williams (9th) was taken as an alternative to the 2020 State Swim Meet that was held at the U of I as part of a CRW Relay that qualified.

Mr. Walker, Ms. Diebold and the Xavier Xhilaration & Xuberance Show Choirs have had a very successful Show Choir season and will wrap up their Xtravaganza Middle School Show Choir Event they hosted here at Xavier this weekend.
Results from this Season:
Xhilaration finished first runner up at Mount Pleasant’s “Music in Motion”
Xhilaration was 3rd runner up at Benton’s “Touch of Class”
Award for outstanding costumes. Both Tyler Reid and Jacob Sires were named Outstanding Soloists
Xhilaration finished fourth runner up in their final competition of the season at the Marion “Masquerade”. The Saints were also named best choreography and combo.

JAZZ & CONCERT BANDS
Ms. Swehla and the Xavier Saints Jazz Band One (JBO) have had some impressive performances this year.
Was 1st out of 12+ bands at the Tallcorn Jazz Festival @ UNI.
Outstanding soloists went to Ava Melchior and Avery Arens
Finished 2nd in the Liberty Jazz Festival
Placed 2nd at the Coe College Jazz Summit
Juliana Karl received outstanding musician honorable mention
Christine Hilario received outstanding musician honorable mention 3a second band class.
The Xavier Saints JBO will perform at the NEIBA District Jazz Festival this Saturday at Independence High School.
The Xavier Jazz Bands & Concert Band also had great performances at the Mid-Winter Concert held this past Tuesday night in the Regis/LaSalle Theater as well.
DANCE TEAM
Your Xavier Saints Dance Team competed in the National Dance Team Competition early February in Orlando. The Saints represented well, competing in the finals for the first time in school history. They finished 10th in Hip Hop and 6th in Pom
ROBOTICS
The Xavier Robotics team, who competed Friday & Saturday at the DoubleTree Convention Center for the State Championship. The team achieved many goals never before earned by our students, and placed 2nd out of 48 teams for the Control Award.
