Girls & Boys TrackThe Girls & Boys Track teams hosted the 27th annual Xavier Co-Ed Invitational Track Meet on April 29th @ Saints Field. The Girls team placed 4th out of 8 participating teams and the Boys team placed 6th out of 8 participating teams.
Congratulations to the following Saints who medaled at the meet.Ava VanBerkum won the High Jump, 5-2
Sofia Musick placed 2nd in the Long Jump
Kaleb Wilgenbusch placed 2nd in the 400 Meter Run
The 4x100 Relay placed 2nd with Hayley Morris, Olivia Neal, Alyse McDermott & Musick
Macie Lupkes placed 3rd in the High Jump
The Shuttle Hurdle Relay placed 3rd with Neal, Musick, Ainsley Foxen & MaKenna Huntington
The Distance Medley Relay placed 3rd with Lucy Oehler, Maeve Ainsworth, Annabell Deegan & Mia Deegan
The Sprint Medley Relay placed 3rd with Cael Stutzman, Carson Mahoney, Mason Meyer & Wilgenbusch
The Boys Track team competes again on Thursday, May 8th hosting the MVC Mississippi Divisional @ Saints Field. Meet time is 4:30 p.m.Girls Tennis
The Girls Tennis team has a current record of 5-0 in the MVC and an overall record of 11-0. The Saints beat Western Dubuque by a score of 9-0 on April 24th.
Xavier played two MVC matches on April 26th. The team beat Linn-Mar in the morning match by a score of 7-2 and beat CR Kennedy in the afternoon match by a score of 6-3. The Saints beat Iowa City High on April 29th by a score of 9-0.
The team plays again on Thursday, May 1st hosting Dubuque Senior. Match time is 4:00 p.m.
The team plays two MVC matches on Saturday, May 3rd. The morning match is against Dubuque Senior @ the University of Dubuque beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the afternoon match is @ Dubuque Wahlert beginning at noon.Boys Tennis

The Girls Golf team competed in the Linn-Mar Invitational on April 29th @ Hunters Ridge G.C. The Saints placed an impressive 2nd out of 14 participating teams.
Mehar Julka placed 3rd to lead the Saints with a 76 and Hayley Morris tied for 7th place with a score of 80. Evelyn Bern shot an 83 and Carmen Hartgrave had a score of 89.
The Saints play again on Thursday, May 1st in an MVC quad hosted by Cedar Falls @ Pheasant Ridge G.C.Girls Soccer
The Girls Soccer team is ranked 3rd in this week’s IGHSAU 2A Poll. The Saints have a record of 3-1-2 and play again on Friday, May 2nd against Muscatine @ the Muscatine Soccer Complex. Match time is 6:30 p.m.
Boys Soccer
The Boys Soccer team beat Cedar Falls on April 24th by a score of 5-2. The team is ranked 2nd in this week’s IHSAA 2A Poll. The Saints have a record of 5-2 and play again on Friday, May 2nd hosting Waverly-Shell Rock. Match time is 5:15 p.m. @ Saints Field.
Music Department
The Music Department is hosting the Spring Concert on Monday, May 5th. The Concert Band will perform in the Regis-LaSalle Theatre beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Choir will perform in the Ron Thillen Gymnasium beginning at 7:45 p.m.
