GO SAINTS! XHS Activities Week-in-Review: October 13, 2022

 

Boys & Girls Cross Country: 

The 2022 Iowa High School Cross Country State Qualifying Meet Assignments for Class 3A have been released and Xavier will travel to West Delaware in Manchester, Iowa, and compete at 4 p.m., Wednesday, October 19th.

 

Boys Golf: 

The Xavier golf team finished 6th at the state golf meet on Saturday which is the highest finish in boys golf in Xavier history. The team was led by Grant Allen's 14th place finish overall shooting a two day total of 152 and Garrett Nurre's 17th place finish at 153.

2nd Team: Quincey Johnson, Garrett Nurre

Swimming:

Congratulations to Ellanor Morrissey on placing in the top 3 in her events on Tuesday-

Ellanor placed 3rd in the 200 Yd Freestyle and 2nd in the 400 Yd Freestyle Relay

Volleyball

The Xavier Volleyball team earned a top seed in Class 4A Region 4. Xavier will take on the winner of Waverly Shell-Rock and Gilbert on October 20th at Xavier High School. 

Football:

Congratulations to Coach Schulte and the #2 ranked football team on their 49-0 win over Clear Creek Amana on Friday. The Saints return home to host Newton.

Marching Band

Congratulations to Mr. Allard and the marching band on their Division 1 rating at the State festival on Saturday.
