Boys Basketball:
The boys basketball team currently sits at 6-4 (3-2) on the season. Last Friday, they defeated Iowa City Liberty 75-62 at home. Tuesday of this week, the team took down Dubuque Senior at home by a score of 63-45. They take on Iowa City High on the road on Friday. The varsity tip time is set for 7:30pm.
Next week, the boys will be on the road Tuesday at Cedar Falls and Friday against Waterloo East.
Bowling:
The bowling teams were in action last Friday and Tuesday. The Boys team defeated Waterloo on Friday 2791-2467. The team dropped a close one against Dubuque Sr. on Tuesday.

Friday, both teams are scheduled to take on Waterloo West in a bowling match at home at 3:45pm.
Girls Basketball:
Coach Lilly and the Girls basketball team sit at 9-3 (6-0) on the year. Last Friday, they traveled to Iowa City Liberty and defeated the Lightning 59-47. They followed that up on Tuesday by defeating Dubuque Senior 54-44. Tomorrow, the Saints will host Iowa City High at 7:30pm.
Next week, the girls will be home against Cedar Falls on Tuesday and Waterloo East on Friday for Senior Night.
Jazz Band:
Congratulations to John Abolins, Tim Lesnik, Sam Hoffmann, Randall Kinner, and Alec Battien for their performance and representation of Xavier at the 3A NEIBA Honor Jazz Band this past Saturday at Kennedy High School.
Show Choir:
Both Xuberance and Xhilaration put on great performances at Xhibition last week. They start their official competition season in a few weekends as they travel to davenport.
Swimming and Diving
On Saturday the 8th, both Kennedy and Washington were on the road. Kennedy traveled to the Dubuque Hempstead Invitational and Washington traveled to Des Moines for the Valley Invitational. Congratulations to our swimmers who placed in the top 3 in their events.

Saturday, our swimmers from Washington will be hosting their invitational. Swimming starts at 12:30pm.
Wrestling:
On Thursday last week, the Saints picked up a home dual victory over Dubuque Sr. 51-24.
Saturday, the Saints traveled to the Linn-Mar duals. They finished 4th as a team and had two wrestlers go undefeated on the day. Both Adam Cook and Chirstian Stanek went 4-0. Tonight, they will be on the road to Kennedy. The varsity match starts at 7:00pm.
This Saturday, they drive across town for the Marion Invitational. Wrestling starts at 9:30am. Next week, we host Jefferson in a dual meet here at Xavier on Thursday. Varsity will start at 7:00pm.

Senior Night for girls basketball is Friday January 21st.
Cheer Camp Minis performance is Friday January 21st during the 6:00pm game.
Dance team will be performing during halftime of the varsity contest on January 25th followed by an awards ceremony for their Character Counts Team of the Year award.
Future Saints Night for boys and girls basketball is Friday January 28th.
Wrestling Future Saints Night is Thursday January 20th.
