Boys Basketball:
The boys basketball team currently sits at 7-5 (5-3) on the season. Last Monday, they defeated Iowa City High on the road 61-46. Tomorrow, the boys will travel to Waterloo East to take on the Trojans. Tip is set for 7:30pm.
Next week, the boys will be home on Tuesday versus Waterloo West and home in a Boy/Girl doubleheader against Iowa City West on Friday. Boys tip is set for 7:30pm both nights.
Bowling:
The bowling teams were in action on Tuesday in a makeup match against Waterloo West.

Next week, both teams will be at the MVC Valley Divisional meet in Dubuque on Thursday.
Girls Basketball:
Coach Lilly and the Girls basketball team sit at 9-4 (6-1) on the year. The Saints games against Iowa City High were postponed until Saturday January 22nd. Times here at Xavier are 1:30 and 3:00pm for those games.
Tomorrow, the Saints will host Waterloo East. This is also senior night for our five senior girls basketball players. They will be recognized with their parents before the varsity game.
Next week, the ladies will be on the road Tuesday at Waterloo West and then home on Friday for the boy/girl doubleheader with Iowa City West. The girls will play the 6:00pm game on Friday.
Jazz Band:
Monday, JBO will be heading to Mount Vernon for the State Jazz Contest. Their performance time is still to be determined, but the contest will be at Mount Vernon High School. Good luck to Ms. Swehla and all of our Jazz Band students.
Robotics:
Congratulations to the Robotics team for a great day at their League Championship event at Clear Creek Amana this weekend. 28 total teams competed and Xavier finished the day as the runner-up winning alliance, and also took home the Design Award for a sleek yet functional design component of their Robot. The team will be advancing to the Super Qualifier Event on February 5th.
Show Choir:
Both Xuberance and Xhilaration open their competition season on the 29th in Davenport.
Speech:
Saturday, our Saints in Large Group Speech will be heading to Monticello for their Large Group District Speech Competition.
Swimming and Diving
On Saturday, both Washington and Kennedy will be competing in the MVC Supermeet hosted by Iowa City West. This event is being hosted at the University of Iowa Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Swimming starts at 12:00pm.
Wrestling:
Tonight, the Saints will host Cedar Rapids Jefferson. It is Future Saints night tonight as well as a “White Out” so make sure to come out and support our wrestling team.
Saturday, the Saints traveled to the Loyd Shaffer Invitational hosted by Marion. Congratulations to our top 10 finishers.

This Saturday, wrestling will travel to Iowa City High for their Invitational starting at 9:00am. Next week, the team will travel to Jefferson for the MVC Conference meet. Wrestling will start at 10:00am.

Senior Night for girls basketball is Friday January 21st.
Cheer Camp Minis performance is Friday January 21st during the 6:00pm game.
Dance team will be performing during halftime of the varsity contest on January 25th followed by an awards ceremony for their Character Counts Team of the Year award.
Future Saints Night for boys and girls basketball is Friday January 28th.
