Instrumental Music
Our Band program put on a fantastic concert on Tuesday this week. Congratulations to Ms. Swehla and all of the students involved in instrumental music.
Vocal Music
Our choirs have their final concert on Monday the 10th at 7:00pm in the main gym.
Boys Track
This past Saturday, the boys traveled down the road to Kingston for the John Ask Relays hosted by Jefferson. The top 3 finishers for this meet was the 4x800 relay that finished 3rd. This was the team of Hansel, Camacho, Lowder, and Steffen.
Today, the boys travel to Dubuque Sr. for the Valley Divisional Track Meet. The meet starts at 4:30pm
Next week, the boys travel to Solon for the CoEd State Qualifying Track Meet on Thursday.
Girls Track
Tuesday, the girls traveled to Prairie. Here are the top 3 finishes for the team.

Boys Soccer
The Saints currently sit at 7-3 on the year.
Last Thursday the boys defeated Hempstead 4-0. On Tuesday of this week, they defeated Waterloo East 10-0.
Tomorrow, the boys travel to Waterloo West with the Varsity starting at 4:15 with the JV to follow at 6.
Next week the boys host Dubuque Senior on Tuesday, travel to Iowa City High on Wednesday, and then take on Kennedy at Coe College on Friday.
Girls Soccer
The Saints moved to 7-2 on the season.
Last Thursday the girls defeated Hempstead 10-0. On Friday, they defeated Center Point - Urbana 5-0. On Tuesday this week, the Saints defeated Waterloo East 4-0.
Tonight, the girls host Waverly - Shell Rock in a battle of top ranked teams. JV starts at 5:30 with Varsity to follow.
Next week, the Girls travel to Dubuque Senior on Tuesday, host Iowa City High in a rescheduled match on Wednesday, and then host Kennedy on Friday.
Boys Tennis
Currently, the Saints are ranked #1 in class 1A and are 12-1 on the year.
Last week Thursday, the boys defeated Dubuque Sr. 9-0. They picked up wins from Brady Horstmann, Matthew Schmit, Declan Coe, Hugh Courter, Trenton Link, and Ethan Shimak in singles. In doubles the teams of Horstmann/Schmit, Coe/Courter, and Shimak/Schmit all picked up victories.
Tonight, the Saints take on Iowa City High at home for the regular season finally. Match play starts at 4:00pm.
On Wednesday May 12th, the boys will travel to Fairfield for singles and doubles District play. Matches start at 9:00am.
Girls Tennis
Currently, the Saints are ranked #1 in 1A and are 11-2 on the year.
Last week Thursday, the girls defeated Dubuque Sr. 9-0. They picked up wins from Miyako Coffey, Courtney Carstensen, Ally Burger, Gabby Flynn, Ella Tallett, and Avery Link in singles. In doubles the teams of Carstensen/Burger, Tallett/Link, and Flynn/Braksiek all picked up victories.
Tuesday, the girls took on class 2A top ranked Iowa City West. They picked up wins from Avery Link in singles and the team of Carstensen/Link in doubles.
Today, the girls travel to Iowa City High to finish their regular season play.
In the postseason, Xavier will host the singles and doubles tournament on Wednesday the 19th with play starting at 9:00am.
Girls Golf
Monday, the girls participated in the MVC Supermeet held at The Meadows in Dubuque. Unfortunately, the meet was cancelled halfway through due weather.
Today, the girls host Western Dubuque, Waterloo East, and Iowa City High at St. Andrews. Play starts at 3:15pm.
Next Week, the Girls will play the first round of the Valley Divisional Tournament on Monday at Twin Pines. Play starts at 9:30am.
