Boys & Girls Cross Country:
On Tuesday the boys and girls teams competed at the Vinton-Shellsburg Invitational. Varsity Boys finished 5th out of 12 teams & varsity girls were 7th of 10 teams. Randall Kinner medaled for the first time this year, finishing 11th overall of the 78 competitors in varsity. Lizzy Schmitt also earned medalist honors, finishing 10th out of 69 competitors.
The teams will be back in action today as they travel down the road to Seminole Valley to compete in the Eastern Iowa Classic held by Kennedy. Running starts at 4:30pm.
Boys Golf:
The Saints won their MVC quad on 9-21 at St. Andrews. The team shot a low score of 155 led by medalist Senior Clayton Nurre: 34 (-1), and runner-up Senior Matthew Schmit 37 (+2).
The team will be back in action next Monday as they play the second divisional round at Dubuque Hempstead. The meet will take place at The Meadows Golf Course starting at 9:30am.

Volleyball
The top ranked Saints defeated Waterloo West 3-0 on Tuesday. They also won their pool in the Benton Invitational and defeated Union 3-0 on Saturday to move to 14-1 on the year.
Tonight the Saints will take on Cedar Rapids Jefferson in a rescheduled match from the first week of the year.
On Saturday, the Saints will travel to Mr. Vernon for a battle of top ranked teams. They take on 3A #1 Mount Vernon, 5A #5 Pleasant Valley, and 5A #6 West Des Moines Valley in a non-conference quad. Play starts at 9:00am.
Football:
The top 5 ranked Saints defeated Newton 45-20 last Friday. They move to 4-0 on the year and 2-0 in the district. They travel to Oskaloosa tomorrow with Varsity starting at 7:30pm.
Next week the Saints will take on Grinnell at Grinnell starting at 7:30pm.
