2025 Graduation Activities

Baccalaureate Mass

Our Baccalaureate Mass for graduates and their parents will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John XXIII located at 8100 Roncalli Dr. SW, Cedar Rapids. An extended evening of celebrating the Class of 2025 will occur. It will include a Mass and guest speakers. This is a dress up occasion for seniors, but no caps and gowns. 

Commencement

Graduation for the Class of 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. in the Ron Thillen Gymnasium. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. with reserved seating for parents of the graduates. Senior boys must be dressed in dress slacks, dress shirts with collars, a tie, socks and dress shoes. Senior girls must be dressed in a dress or dress blouse with a dress skirt or dress pants and dress shoes. All seniors will wear their graduation gowns, caps, and tassels.

Senior Art Show

As a reminder, this year we will be doing the Senior Art Show virtually. Portfolios will be displayed on a website with links through social media and Xavier's website. This website will be available for viewing prior to Baccalaureate.  Please remind your students to submit their art through this form before the May 2nd deadline.
