Planning for Three Scenarios As guidance from the Department of Education continues to evolve, Xavier is currently making plans for three potential scenarios:
Returning after Easter (as is currently scheduled)
Returning at a later date
Not returning this academic year
As the CDC, Iowa Department of Public Health and Governor Reynolds continue to update guidelines, so too will we be evaluating our learning opportunities and proceeding accordingly. As these decisions are made, please know that we will continue to communicate information with you in a timely manner.
Saints of Service (S.O.S.) Xavier High School SOS ("Saints of Service") students are preparing to help our Xavier Catholic Schools community however they can during this difficult time. We are ready to offer families support and service through student volunteers and outreach efforts. We invite you to complete this form to help us get a sense for your family's specific needs at this time.
Xavier SOS coordinators will review your submission and will respond with how we can best assist your family. After completing the form, you should expect to hear from a parent volunteer OR an XHS student who has volunteered to help our families via the SOS effort.
Please know that all submitted information will be kept confidential.
If you have additional questions about how we can help your family, please contact Xavier SOS parent coordinators, Holly Loney at [email protected] or Mary Pat Schulte at [email protected].
