Welcome New Vocal Music Director, Philip Schroetter!

We have another new face we'd like to introduce for the 2020-2021 school year. Please help us we welcome our new director of vocal music, Philip Schroetter! Philip comes to Xavier with over a decade of experience teaching high school vocal music in Iowa and Minnesota. Choirs under his direction have received honors at numerous competitions and contests. He's a 2005 graduate of Wartburg College and holds a Masters in Music Education from Boston University. He also took time to perform and record with a semi-professional choir, Exultate, in the Twin Cities where he was a bass section leader, and soloists with the choir. Mr. Schroetter is thrilled to be back in the Cedar Rapids area joining the Xavier family and ready to continue to build upon the success of our choral music program. He and his wife Shannon reside in Hiawatha with their two boys, Elliot and Sullivan.
